The Department of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II is based at the historical palace Reggia di Portici, 10 Km from the city centre of Naples. (https://www.centromusa.it/it/).
The Reggia di Portici, a Royal Palace commissioned by King Charles of Bourbon, is an architectural marvel. Its stunning facade, broad terraces, and elegantly decorated rooms, such as the Chinese Room (Aula Magna), reflect 18th-century Europeans' admiration for Oriental art. The venue is also home to the Botanical Garden, under the guidance of the Department of Agriculture, spanning over 30 hectares. This vast garden, rich with diverse plant species, further enhances the grandeur of the site, providing an inspiring and lush setting for ICDRA 2026.
